often, messages I receive in dark mode are rendered really badly, where text, background or other parts' colours are not being changed to something suited for dark mode. Easiest to show is with pictures.
Attached are:
- First two: Aquamail Dark Mode
- Second two: Aquamail Light Mode
- Last two: Nine Mail Dark Mode

Now, of course temporarily deactivating dark mode with the corresponding quick action is a workaround but I think dark mode should work properly on its own. In this regard I think the 9 folders developers have done a great job and I would love Aquamail to rival that. Since it seems to be an older issue (see above link) I would like to bring this behaviour back to your attention.
There isn't really any way to "replicate" this as it just occurs with some emails. If you wish I can see if I can find non-sensitive ones that I can forward you for research.
I'm running version 1.36.0-147 on Android 12.
