Can't attach files from dropbox after update

Hi,
When I go to attach, I get 3 options
Add Image and Video
Add from Camera
System file picker

It's an excel file I want to send, stored in dropbox.
System file picker leads me to 2 options

Internal Shared Storage
SD Card

but no dropbox. It worked fine before the update.
Any ideas appreciated!

Hi Charles,

What is your device model and what app opens after you choose "System file picker"?

The system file picker is usually a Google app called DocumentsUI but I've noticed some vendors change it to their own files app. Xiaomi's files app does not display Dropbox as an option for example.

Hi, it is a Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro. Presumably I can change it to the android version?

I cant tell what app it is, it's just a white screen with "Select Folder" at the top and Internal Shared Storage or SD Card as options underneath.
If I look at all my open apps it just shows that as Aqamail.

This phone is quite new so its probably nothing to do with an aquamail update as I suggested!

Hi Charles,

I recently stumbled on another such case from a Xiaomi phone user. Looks like Xiaomi, on some of their devices, defaults to their own Files app as the system file picker. Their Files app does not support a Dropbox integration, only Google Drive and Xiaomi cloud.

This is why you can't upload your images. I'm not really sure if you can change this behavior somewhere in Android but I suspect you cannot.
