As the subject states: When in message view, how does 'swiping back' in Android 12 close the app? Currently, when in a message, and swiping back (from the right edge of the screen), I land in the smart folder, and when swiping again, in the account view, and only upon a third swipe does it exit the app. Possible with one swipe?

It's been a month - ;-) - wondering if anybody has any insight on this question?

Thanks!

Hi Peter,

You can disable the Smart Folder and Account List and you should exit with a single swipe sideways. Alternatively, you can just swipe up and go to the Home screen, regardless of how many in-app screens there are. That's not "exiting with Back" though.
