Html not working when writing emails
« on: January 11, 2022, 03:52:33 pm »
A few months ago, html settings (bold, italics, underline hyperlink in text) stopped working. Using gmail account through aquamail. No problem for many years, now no html at all, though CAN change email font, color, size. Checked aquamail settings and individual gmail account settings. No problems with html options if I use the gmail app or through email through gmail web interface, but don't want to do that. True for both new and response outgoing  emails. Italics et al work in other programs.

Also, spam--really obvious spam, and easily caught by google spam filter--is no longer being directed to spam folder despite no changes in settings.

Phone is Samsung S21 5G, android 12, all software up to date, most recent kernel Tue Dec 21, no bugs found. Aquamail problem hasn't improved after several Samsung/google updates.

This has nothing to do with AM. It's only pulling down what's on the GMail server.

As for your HTML issue, I am seeing nothing like that with any of my email accounts, including GMail. I'm using AM v1.33.0-102. It's possible it has something to do with Android 12, as I'm still on 11.
