How to report a bug

Hi everyone,

Is Aqua Mail not working as expected? You can let us know by reporting a bug in this section! By including details, steps, videos and pictures, you make our jobs way easier and the bugs get fixed quicker. Therefore, when reporting issues, please try to stick to these practices.

Your bug should be:
  • Reproducible - If we can't recreate the problem or prove it exists, it's unlikely to be fixed.
  • Specific - The quicker we can find it from your description, the quicker it will be gone.

Your bug report should include:
  • Steps to reproduce - This is the most important part of a report and allows us to follow a clear guide to the target bug.
  • Visuals - Screenshots, video recording, example files. All of these make it tremendously easier to understand a report. Include them if you can.
  • Configuration - Sometimes, bugs only happen with specific OS versions or device model, it's a good idea to mention this.
  • Logging - Some issues only show up with a log file. However, if you want to send us a log, please do so at support@aqua-mail.com.

And please don't forget:
  • Always use the latest build.
  • Only report one bug per thread.
  • Blur any personal info from your reports.
  • Any additional information, observations, opinions can be included after the report itself.
