Can you please explain me why I cannot open the S/MIME attachments.

Can you please share what you mean by that? Regular attachments (.pdf; .jpeg; etc.) or a .p7m attachment? What app version do you run currently? If you think a video/screenshot example will help, you can send it to support@aqua-mail.com so we can have a look there.

Last version of Aqua on play store, Android 11.

Hi Fabrizio,

You only see the .p7m attachment when the mail client does not support verifying S/MIME signatures. Since Aqua Mail can verify S/MIME signatures you'll see this ribbon next to the sender's name.
