Persistent incoming network server errors

Rainbow on the top line scrolls for long time (minutes). Some mail doesn't open and read.  Then error says Persistent incoming network server errors.  No errors with server.  Happened after latest update.

Samsung s20+.

Still favourite email app though!

After updating to latest apk as of May 6... I'm still having problems.. previous problems weren't fixed.   I tried to install an old apk but it won't allow me... how do I downgrade? This latest updates as of last month have nothing but problems... I'm also a paying customer.
