Android Update disrupts Aqua Mail operation
« on: March 23, 2021, 05:50:05 am »
I just updated Android system on my Galaxy S10 Plus cell phone and Galaxy Tab S6 Lite.  Since then, I cannot open email messages on Aqua Mail anymore.  Please fix it ASAP!  Thanks!

Which email client is it? Yahoo, Gmail, etc.. Have you tried deleting and re-adding the account?

Hi,
I have similar problems since this morning. I can open the app; but once I click on an email to open it, the app crashed, it doesn't matter from which mailbox, every email I click triggers a crash.

Hi guys, I registered so I can point to the solution, on Android there's a global problem as of yesterday/today with android WebView, after updating it manually via the play store everything works again ("Android System WebView").

Hi all,

We are aware that there were some issues with AquaMail due to the Google WebView update, which caused crashes for some of our users.
If you're still experiencing the issue:
  • Open the Play Store app
  • Search for “Android System WebView“
  • Select Update (If it doesn't say Update, skip this step)
  • Repeat these steps for “Google Chrome“

Regards,
