A forwarding macro?

Hello there,
I am using Todoist in a way that I forward my emails to a specific address to create a task. So in practice in aquamail that takes 3 steps for me:

• tap forward email
• type in or choose recepient
• tap send

Is there a way to shorten this? A macro button would be the best! I would appreciate all feedback.

Hi, you may search in play store for "email to self". There a several apps.

Usually you can preconfigurate those mails. In AquaMail tap on share icon, then select the app you installed.

Some years ago I used such an app, not in play store anymore. So I can't recommend a specific app.

Hi Justin, thanks for the reply! Your solution to implement would take me a similar amount of steps as my current one I think. Do you know whether one can preconfigure a default forward to email address? So when you press forward, its already there?

There is no way to do with from within AM. You need a third-party app.

There is a auto CC or BCC but no auto forward.

If you're going to set a rule to auto forward you should do that from the email providers rules section and not from the email client.

The thing is that it is only the AM client I need this "rule" for. For desktop I am usimg gmail and it has dedicated todoist plugin.

I suggested "Email to self" apps, which can be preconfigured, e.g. recipient.
The only thing in AquaMail is to share a message to such an app.

This has nothing to do with what you wrote.

If you use the CC or BCC under "composing and sending" settings for the account. It would forward every email to that account but it would also send every reply to that account as well. You could in theory have another Gmail account or another account that allows rules and for those you want to send to your to-do list you just put "to do" in the subject and set a rule to have those emails forwarded to your "to do"  list application.

However sharing to an application that would manage this would work better

Ok, I see the share text button. There is also a save to eml/ pdf one. Share as eml or pdf would do the work, but its not there..

Also, as a workaround I was trying to find out whether you can do something with items that are placed in a dir (or in gmail- that a label), because this you can do fast in aquamail- copy to a folder. Unfortunetally cannot filter messages based on that.
