"More messages..." notification on Samsung watch

When I get a new email, the notification I receive on my Samsung Galaxy Watch just says:
+1968 more...
More messages...

How do I make it show the actual content of the new email, rather than this placeholder?

I have the "smart watch enhancements" option enabled but that doesn't seem to help?

Fixed. I emailed support about this too, and they said to go to settings -> message notifications -> and change "notify about" to "new unread messages" instead of "all unread messages". This fixed the issue for me.
