Push Mail Notification

Why does the push mail notification never go away? It's always there. I can't remove it ... see attachment

It only informs you that push, IMAP etc is enabled or when push is in progress. You can disable the notification bar , but it is not recommended, as apps which have a notification bar icon are the last ones which get killed by Android.
Settings -> Look and Feel -> Status bar icon
