Composing messages and dark mode

Hi!

I might be missing something in the settings. Dark mode works fine but when I compose a new message, the message window has a white background.

Can this be changed somehow?

We're currently considering this feature & it might be implemented in a future Aqua Mail version.

I can't say when this will happen yet as there are multiple factors to evaluate.

Hey,

This is how the message composer is supposed to look like, it's more greyish than the standard background in the white theme so that it doesn't hurt your eyes. If the box has a darker/customizable background color, it will cause other issues when typing/editing text with the rich text editor.
There is no setting to change that part of the app.
