How does AM keep, purge messages?
« on: February 26, 2013, 06:47:33 pm »
Hi - I know I like AM, just still getting the hang of it.

I'm trying to figure out how AM purges messages, and what the message counts mean.  Specifically.

1) When I go to the main mailbox view, it says that there are "20" in my (POP3) inbox - but many many more are listed in the smart inbox, and all are marked read, so I don't know what the "20" means.

2)  I've tried selecting "25" "100" and "1000" messages per page and it doesn't seem to make any difference.  What does this setting do?

3) Is there a limit or aging to the number of messages AM keeps?  I'd like it to keep a couple of weeks worth (could be a few hundred).

Thanks VERY Much
/j
