update - aquamail notification spammnig

I have a galaxy s9+ and when aquamail updated it spams my notifications with 15+ aquamail notification icons every time even when I clear them all, if I clear it when it checks for emails it redisplays them again on the notification bar.

I uninstalled and installed aquamail again but no change, even if you clear the notifications the next time it checks for email it spams the notification bar with email icons
