New Mail Notification
« on: November 19, 2019, 04:35:11 pm »
I have AM Pro installed on both an older Nexus tablet and my new Pixel 3a phone. Android 10, Aquamail 1.21.0-1942

On my tablet, if I send an email to myself (account set up in AM), I get a new mail notification right away.   However, on my Pixel phone I do not.
If I use the Android Gmail app on my phone I get a newmail notification right away.

So, my question is, how do I configure AM so that:

1  When the App is launched it immediately checks to see if you have mail and
2  When I am in the AM application and I send an email to myself, AM does an immediate sync and I get a newmail notification.

Thanks in advance

Try to downgrade Am to version 1.20.0-1469:

I think I have fixed the problem, set inbox sync pushmail.

Yes, that should be useful.
