Backup and restore password issue

Hi there,

Just posting to let out my frustration at an issue today.  This morning I made a backup of my AquaMail settings, then switched phones in store (they had a deal where they take the old one).  When I got home with the new phone, AquaMail is asking me for a password to restore the settings.  However, I was never asked to make a password.  The restore function says 'Password, optional', yet seems to want one.  I guess it is possible that it is ok without a password, as it does say 'Restored app settings' immediately if I enter no password.  However, no settings are changed at all, so it is hard to know if it was meant to have worked or not.

Anyhow, I can sit down and spend an hour or so trying to remember all the 'look and feel' changes all over again, so it's not the end of the world.  Just a bit of a disappointing experience I guess.  Not sure if you have any advice, or I just got unlucky and it didn't really work this time?
