I already know Aquamail has a feature that blinks LED.  That is way too simplistic and too narrow in what it solves.  What if my phone is my pocket?   It would be nice if there was vibration/sound that repeats at an interval (e.g. 1 min).

It's been an option for quite some time, but now notifications are now controlled by the OS.

In AM tap the main menu button (three dots upper right) > Settings > Message notifications > Manage notifications > Vibrate
OR
Long press on an account > Special settings > Message notifications > Manage notifications > Vibrate

Appreciate the reply, however, I think you misunderstand my question.  I also already had "Vibrate" enabled.  The problem is that the vibrate doesn't periodically vibrate (e..g. once per minute) to keep notifying me (reminder) after the one time.  Again, the goal is for it to keep reminding me i have new messages, not just the one time.

Yes, apparently I skipped over the word "interval" in your post. Sorry for giving you false hope.
