E-mail messages not displaying

Hi,
when I try to open any message in auqmail it give me error:
"android.view.InflateException: Binary XML file line #2: Binary XML file line #2: Error inflating class <unknown>"
I have android 7.0, aquamail latest version. I reinstalled aquamail with removed all data and installed again but have the same error.

thanks, I updated all my apps in google play store and looks like is working now.

thanks, but there is not resolution for this issue in this topic, and my problem still occurs.

However, it seems, that the issue is  caused outside the app - > "WebView / Chrome'

Not a "related" issue but same issue really.

Aqua Mail - and other email (and not only) apps rely on a piece of Android technology to display message content.

This "piece of Android technology" is:

- Android 5.0 - 6.0: Android System WebView

- Android 7.0 and newer: Google Chrome (yes the web browser)

Something must have gotten "messed up" and this (whichever is applicable to your phone's Android version) is not working.

Please try to:

- Use Google Play app to "uninstall updates" to this app (whichever is applicable to your phone's Android version)

- Reboot the phone

- Reinstall updates

- Reboot the phone

- And hopefully it works

I am having this same issue. Chrome OS, Aqua Mail ver 1.18.0-1396

Thanks, this solved my problem! Chrome was frozen as I like to use Firefox. Forgot that WebView used it. Do defrosted it and issue was solved!
