Delete folder in POP3 account, and sync with Outlook 2013

Hello,
I created a folder on the app that I'd like to delete, or at least rename.  The folder is under a POP3 account.  I've searched the forum and found info on IMAP but not POP3.  I'd also like for the folders to update between AM and Outlook 2013.

Additionally, I'm not seeing the account in the accounts list.  In my Smart Folder, it shows up as "?: Inbox"

Unless I'm misunderstanding, POP accounts can only show top-level folders, i.e. Inbox, Sent, etc. User-created folders only sync via IMAP.. If you want to keep using the POP account, I suggest you delete it, which will remove the folder, and then set up the POP account again.

I deleted the account in AM and re-added.  After entering my email address and password it reverted back to POP3 automatically and didn't give any options to set SMTP, etc.

I figured out how to create the account with IMAP, but the folders I'm wanting to delete are still showing up in AM.  I've logged into the account using Webmail, which is not listing the folders I would like to delete.  PLEASE HELP!
