App crashes after uninstalling Google Chrome !?

The app crashes at startup of the widget or when trying to view a message
after I have uninstalled Chrome (incl. com...chromecustomizations) from Android 9 / Note 9.
All other apps and the phone work just fine.

Aquamail error log says (multiple times): "failed to find donor package: com.android.chrome"
(same error after deleting and reinstalling the app and clearing all caches).

How can I use this app without Chrome?

Can you please send us a debug log at support@aqua-mail.com so we can check and fix the problem?

Crashes are automatically recorded in a crash log, called <code>log-AquaMail-crash.txt</code> and located at the root of your device’s memory card.
Please send it as an attachment to support / at sign / aqua-mail / dot com .
This file does not contain any logins or passwords or message text.
