Open links in custom tab?
« on: December 16, 2018, 11:15:19 pm »
When I enable the option to use the "internal browser", it seems that the link opens in a custom Chrome tab, just like other applications do the same thing. However, all other applications use the custom tabs of the default browser, in my case Mozilla Firefox. Is it possible to use the custom tabs of the default browser instead?

I would think if you want to use your default browser you need to disable use of the internal browser. I have no idea if it will open in your custom tabs, but I would think not.

Hi,

At the moment you are not able to use Mozilla custom tabs, this feature works only in Chrome.

Hi Nadja,

i hope this could be a feature in future Aqua Mail versions, since i really like custom tabs, but i didn't want to use Chrome. On most of my phone Chrome isn't installed or deactivated in favorite of Firefox. Firefox is a lot faster at least on a Samsung Galaxy S7 and S9 than Chrome. Additionally, it respects the privacy of the user, which isn't the case with Google Chrome.
