How do i keep mails on server when deleting

Hello,
i am using a POP3-account to send/read emails.
I am looking for an option like "Keep messages on server [yes/no]".
If "yes" is selected then the mail should stay on the server on only be deleted on the smartphone
If "no" is selected the email should be also removed from server if deletet local.

Is there an option like this? I also googled this topic but i cannot fin the mentioned selections/options in my app.

From the account list, long press on the account > Options and folders > Account options > Deleting messages > Hide in the app, keep on the server.

Note that this is on a -per account- basis. You can't select yes or no on a per message basis. I use this setting all the time since I'm usually checking email from my phone when I'm away from my desktop. And not often replying to it. Once I'm at the desktop and launch my stand-alone email client, all mail gets downloaded and then deleted from the server.

In the german app it is under:

Three lines to open menu
Konten verwalten
select the "Konto"
Einstellungen
Kontoeinstellungen
Nachrichten löschen -> "In AquaMail ausblenden, auf Server behalten"

thanks, i found it after clicking 1h (what do you mean with "long press"?).

In the app's main window - the Account list screen - tap and hold (= long-press) on the account name > this will open the 'Account-specific" settings screen > 'Optionen und Ordner' > 'Kontoeinstellungen' > 'Nachrichten löschen'

... It's just another way to get to the (Account-specific) settings

Hmm, what do you mean with "app's main window"?
Currently when i open the app it starts direct with "Posteingang".
Can you post a screenshot on the position where "to press long"?
(Also if it is currently solved and working i want to know it)

What happens with a mail that i delete in AquaMail (but is still on the server). The app says "1 Mail ausgeblendet".
Is the data still stored on the mobile? How can i delete hidden mails to free up memory?
Or are they automatically deleted of they are also removed from server?

As I wrote above:  "- the Account list screen -"

This is the screen, where all your accounts are listed.

• Tap on an account name will open the 'Folder list'
• Press and hold (= long-press) will open the Account-specific settings screen

When i long press on the painted Account Name then happens nothing.
Is it because j have only one Account?

Yes, that's the reason.

If you are using only 1 account the app will hide the account list screen... by default.

To change this, the option 'Hide the account list screen' ('Kontoliste ausblenden') can be deactivated. But it isn't really necessary to do that.
