Read receipt.

Hi,

This app has read receipt yet I never get any. I send a trial message to my brother, he has yahoo mail, he opened it in his email app but I did not get any confirmation of email reading.

Is it very difficult to implement read receipt in email app? It is such an important feature.

there is no such feature in email, sorry,
for read receipt to work, the receiver must accept/agree to send you one,
I never send any/to anyone,
but I use whoreadme.com which adds a hidden image to track emails sent,
however this isn't absolutely reliable either,
because the recipient could choose not to download images (even aqua supports that option)

And also the *receiving* email app (or web mail, or whatever) has to support read receipts in incoming messages and allow sending them.

Many apps don't.

And then many people consider read receipts an invasion of privacy so may not send you a receipt if they use an email app that supports them.
