Hide/show quoted text

Hi,

I was wondering if there is a way to hide quoted text in the end
but show inline quoted text? Or probably set a limit on the number
of lines above which the text will be hided.

Nope sorry it's an all or nothing setting (in "message view" section IIRC).

And actually expanding some number of quoted snippets at the beginning and hiding others seems like a good idea that makes sense. Best of both options it would be.
