Samsung Galaxy Watch support/notification

Hi There,
I love Aqua Mail so much that i bought it.
I have a Galaxy Note 9 and a Galaxy Watch R800 - how do i get notification to the watch?

i enabled the smart watch support in Aqua Mail - but nothing shows up on the watch.
I use Aqua Mail with Exchange (EWS) - all works fine and i get notification to the Note 9.

Any ideas?

You also need this app installed and configured (watch connected):

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.samsung.android.app.watchmanager

No idea if it's pre-installed on all S9's.

PS - this is theory only, I don't happen to own any Samsung smart watches.

I'd love to hear how you get on with the Samsung watch.

I am tempted but wonder just how useful it would be.

Particularly with regard to charging which I assume one does overnight.
