Wlan sending problems

Hello out there,
did not find a solution in FAQs or here:
Using wlan, in a specific wlan system (a private one, not a public), emails cannot be sent by aqua, neither on smartphone nor on tablet. Another mail app is but successful. There are no other problems known with router or wlan system.

When shutting off wlan and sending mails via mobile connection it works. Is there a better solution (tablet has no mobile connection, so it is rather an effort to send mails from there)?
Something wrong in the options of aqua or the router?

Something is blocking Aqua's connections to the outgoing mail server.

Could be the WiFi router itself or the networks further up the chain.

...yes exactly, thank you, Kostya, but what could this "something" be what other mail apps do not need, and how can I change that then?

In general I can't speak for "other mail apps".

Aqua Mail is not cloud based - it connects directly from your phone to the mail servers. If the "sending" connection is blocked - then it is blocked.

Cloud based apps don't connect directly from the phone - they route your email through their own cloud servers. Beware of potential privacy issues.
