Hi All,

Does anyone know the EWS authentication code or where i can find one? I have a customer that has set up AquaMail on a large touchscreen and created an email address for this screen but it is now asking for the EWS Code.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Sorry I don't quite understand what you mean by "EWS Code"

EWS is how the app connects to Exchange. A network protocol. Others are IMAP, POP3, SMTP. Network protocols used for email.

What is "the code"?

Apologies, i may have got that wrong as i was just going off what the customer relayed to me. I have asked them to take a picture of the message and send it to me, it says:-

Account Check Error

Exchange Mail Server (EWS): Invalid server response . HTTP/1.1 404 not found

Please make sure your settings are correct

Does this mean anything to you and if so do you know what settings they may need to change please?

The basic server setting are probably incorrect. Make sure they have the correct server name and port.

@Nick - please talk to your company's "computer people" and mention EWS (Exchange Web Services) specifically.

I *think* your server does not provide EWS at all. Or maybe it does but it requires a different server name.

I can't know which it is, they (IT department) are supposed to.
