New account setup not pulling emails in order

Hi, haven't noticed this before in Aqua Mail, but I set up a new IMAP account and existing emails aren't pulling through in date order as expected. They're ordered in date order, but for example the most recent email showing is from yesterday, whereas I've had several today. Then maybe a couple are showing from the last few days and so on.

If I scroll down to load more emails, and keep loading more and more, then the most recent emails do eventually pull through and appear at the top of the list as expected. But if I exit the app and go back into that account then those new ones have gone again and I need to keep loading more to see them.

Emails received since adding the account do appear at the top of the list as expected, it seems to be existing ones that aren't pulling through in order.

Any ideas?
