Hyperlink color has little contrast in dark theme, how to change it?

I'm a premium user and use the dark theme for messages, but find the hyperlinks really difficult to read due to the dark teal color on black.  Can someone help me find a way to change this teal color to something else with more contrast?  I searched the forums here and the last time I see this issue mentioned is the beginning of 2017, but I don't see any fix or option available yet. 

Everything else in this app is so customizable, but I can't find any place in settings to change that teal color.  Someone mentioned last year that it was hard coded into the program as the 'accent color', but surely there must be a way to change that, right?  I would go so far as to manually patch a few bytes in the app with a different color HEX code such as #00ccff (light aqua) if I knew where to look.

Anyone have any suggestions?

We just changed it back to the standard "browser blue" for the two light themes.

The change is present in last night's build of 1.8.2:

Well, the dark themes are, well, dark, so at least for now -- the "teal" seems to look more constrast-ey against dark gray / black.

The actual color hardcoded into the app, for the "dark with dark messages" theme is #26A9D9. Personally I don't think it's either blue or dark (more like bright cyan to me).

Are these HTML formatted messages? Do they perhaps have their own formatting for links which the app isn't able to override (* not all square pegs can be hammered into round holes...)

Yes, I've read both of those threads before posting, but was hoping that something had changed in the past year or so.

If I knew the current accent color, I might be able to locate it in the code with a hex editor and change it, but the color mentioned in that second thread (#26A9D9) is no longer the current teal color used in the app now.  #26A9D9 is more of a light blue, which would probably be closer to what I'm looking for.

EDIT:  I've managed to locate the color used, and it's currently #009688 (Teal A600), so I'm going to see what I can do to change that.

Yes that the value and Google calls it "Teal 500".
