Aqua Mail's job is to sync your calendar events to the device's Calendar app -- and that it does, and if a particular event has an alert, Aqua will store that in Calendar as well.

And the rest -- actual notifications -- is up to the Calendar app / Android itself.

We have a task for a *future* enhancement -- "do not set reminder alerts" for synced Calendar events.

Hello Kostya,

do you have any idea when you might get around to that enhancement?

I would love to have that, so that I don't get alerts all day long from my Aquamail-synced job calendar, but still get my personal calendar alerts.
And Google Calendar doesn't offer anything to "mute" a specific calendar, unfortunately.

Thanks,

   Dan
