Sergio Papini is you, correct?
In message view we detect if a message is "from you" and show the first recipient instead.
In expanded conversations we don't - that way an expanded conversation looks more like a conversation:
[ you ]
[ someone else ]
[ you again ]
[ someone else again ]
Yup, that's me. Pleasure to meet you.
So here is a conversation seen from the Sent folder:
Name at the bottom shows Alejandro Israel, but that's the first recipient. The author is actually someone named Aida.
Similarly, the second-to-last email appears with the name Aida, but this email was written by Alejandro and the first recipient is Aida.
The idea of changing who's name appears as remitent in the Sent folder could be useful if it's a two person conversation. Otherwise, Aquamail users need to tap on individual emails to see who actually wrote what and to whom.
As an additional example, the email with the Yellow E (4th email in the thread) is me forwarding the email to Emmanuel and others. The next email, with my name on it, isn't from me but addressed to me and others. In order to know who wrote that email, I need to click on the email and see the header.
In my case, I'm not finding the modified view for the Sent folder particularly useful. I'm sure there are plenty of users that do.
My request would be to make the reversed Sent view optional and something I could toggle on and off so all conversations look the same in Inbox, Archive and Sent folders.
Thanks,
