Location of notification changes, when 'Delete' is selected

I suspect this is an Android problem, and not one the AquaMail developer can solve. Nonetheless, here I am.

I have configured AquaMail to allow me to delete emails, from the notification. But, only with confirmation.

The notification appears in the notification shade and I select 'Delete'. If there are other notifications currently displayed in the notification shade, the location of the AquaMail notification changes its location (usually, lower on the shade), and displays the delete confirmation button.

Is there any way to keep the location of the AquaMail notification the same, between the tap to delete and the confirmation tap?

Nope. The confirmation notification has the same notification ID - but the actual job of displaying notifications is done by Android, not the app.
