Backup using email
« on: March 26, 2017, 10:36:35 am »
I use AM on a phone and tablet.
The tablet is WiFi only.

Besides the obvious difference of not having 2G, 3G or 4G on my tablet I want a identical configuration as on my phone.

So on my phone I successfully created a backup and sent it by email.
On my tablet I click the email attachment and all seems to work fine. No error.
But it simply doesn't apply settings.

I can not find the backup file I saved on SD card. On the new phone, the "Restore" button is not active even if they are on the folder where the file is located.
How do I do it?

The right location is:

<root of user accessible storage>* -> backup -> AquaMail

* - commonly /mnt/sdcard/ or /storage/emulated/0/

And there also is a "pick folder" button on the restore screen.
