Not saved in sent email box

Somehow most of my IMAP accounts don't save mail in my sent box (anymore). With tests it apparently does sent them, but they are just not stored in the sent box.
When i send with my IMAP client on Windows (MailBird) it works fine. It only happens in AquaMail.
Checking it on the webmail accounts confirms they are not saved in the sent mail box. In the settings the option store in sent folder after sending is enabled.
I've checked the configs and i can't find anything wrong with it. It only happens with some of my IMAP accounts, Gmail works fine.
The one thing i noticed is that the failing accounts are the ones with a spam.one domain extension. Could that be it? Maybe it's considered spam or something? (didn't happen before i believe - must have been after an update).

Any idea what could cause this?

In main view (the account list), long-press on your account name -> Options and folders -> Composing and sending, and look for an option called "Save sent messages". Is it selected?
Then repeat this for all the accounts with an issue.
Thanks. Yes, it was selected. That's not it.
Also because of this conversations in MailBird are now not updated, it ignores my sent mail from MailBird, so that's quite annoying. Actually a reason to stop using AquaMail. Another reason is that i can't contact the support. Only way is this forum and then hope someone here will have an answer. Not really what i expected from a paid app.

I'm pretty sure that you will get an answer / feedback on a short term.

It is very likely that for whatever reason, your Sent folder in Aquamail and Sent folder in MailBird a pointing to different folders on the server.
If you long-press on the "Sent" folder, you will see which folder on the mail server it is pointing to.

To link Aquamail "Sent" folder to the desired folder on the server, follow the step described in the FAQ item "How do I access server side folders?": http://www.aqua-mail.com/?page_id=227

What do you mean "I can't contact the support"? The developer does respond to users' questions here on a regular basis. In addition to that, you get experienced users who are willing to help you (if you are looking for help and not for the venue to vent). It's also important to choose the server right folder for uploading sent messages -- should be same as used by other apps and web mail.

- Please long press on the account -> options and folders -> folders.

- Give it 5-15 seconds to refresh.

- Find the server side Sent folder (may be called something else, e.g. Sent Messages, Sent Items, may be in your language and not English, etc.)

- Tap its name and choose "Sync as Sent".
