Fwd message inline image missing

I received an email with an inline image and tried to forward. To view the image I had to select 'Show quoted text' from the inbox message. Before forwarding I wanted to edit the message so other recipients' email addresses were not visible for privacy. In the edit screen the image was no longer visible but I assumed it was still there. However viewing the message in the sent folder (and re-sending to my email) confirmed the image was no longer part of the forwarded message(?) Can a message that is to be forwarded be edited to remove other recipients email addresses without losing other inline content?

"editing" the "quoted text" together with "new text" (the pencil icon) converts the quoted text to plain text format, removing all formatting (and an inline image is a type of formatting).

Is there any work around to preserve the format of the quoted text when pressing the edit (pencil icon) button? I often have to reply to my customer from their email point by point. customer's response will be written as another color and my reply should be in other color. So, when pressing the edit button, all the format are lost... I have to wait to reply customer using Outlook...

this is the only problem i have with AquaMail... all other features are really superb! Please advise

Sorry there isn't. Tapping that "edit" button will convert the quoted message to plain text, every time.

Now we are aware that this could really use an improvement, but no specifics yet. Sorry again.
