Copying a message from one IMAP account to another?
« on: May 12, 2017, 02:37:35 pm »
Is there a way within AquaMail to copy an IMAP message from a folder in one account to a different folder in a different account?

In email clients such as Thunderbird, this can be easily done by selecting the message and requesting Copy, which allows any folder in any account to be set as the destination.

I'd like to do the same thing in AquaMail, but I can't find a way to make this happen.

If this can be done in AquaMail, could someone point me to instructions?

Thank you in advance.

At this time, this functionality is still not available in Aquamail.
This suggestion has been brought up a number of times, and it is on the developer's "list" (although I am not sure how high the priority of it.)

OK. Thank you.

I can work around this by using Thunderbird on my desktop computer.

Yes, unfortunately the biggest disadvantage of AquaMail (for myself), including copying messages into another folder inside the same  account.

There are already many threads about this request ;).

Workaround in Android is using another mail app for this action, which provides this feature, e.g. "MailDroid".
