No access to settings menu on my mobile phone anymore
« on: May 06, 2017, 03:34:38 am »
I no longer have access to the general Aquamail settings (including add account, help and everything else) in the Aquamail app on my mobile phone. The settings menu simply doesn't show. I have tried a number of different things such as touch-hold in various spots to see if it is just hidden, but apparently it isn't there.

I can access account-specific settings on the individual accounts.

The access is not missing on my tablet's Aquamail app, which is where I am now.

Both devices are Android.

Any idea what has happened and how to fix it?

You could try the following steps:
-> in account list: (short) tap on an account
-> tap on a folder
-> in message list: tap on the "three-stripes" on the top left edge (screenshot #1) or just swipe from tha left side of the message list to the right to get access to the navigation drawer (screenshot #2)
-> you will find the 'settings wheel' near the bottom / below of the folder list

If I understand it correctly, the issue was fixed in the -stable release:
https://www.aqua-mail.com/forum/index.php?topic=5671.0

Anna: you can install that -stable from that link and that should not affect the ability of your device to apply the future updates from Google Play.

Yes, this version should fix 'Anna's' issue.
Thanks @StR (I hadn't remembered that there was a general problem here  8))
