Crash on composing (erase contact)

Hello

In MIUI 8 (at least), when i try to erase an contact address with swipe command on gboard, and then, erasing with normal key (backspace), app closes with an error.

If you need more info, I'm attaching phone and system information.

Would you please describe how you erase a contact by swiping?!

Gboard has a cool gesture to erase a word, phrase or all the text that you input. When you glide from backspace (erase key) to the left and then take off your finger, it erases words of letters that you selected.

I guess you've got "contact chips" turned off in Aqua Mail (settings -> Contacts)?

I just tried this, could not reproduce on a Nexus 5. The gesture did work.

Please check if there is a postmortem crash log called log-AquaMail-crash.txt and if so please send to support / at / aqua-mail / dot com.

Sorry the "scenario" of the crash isn't clear from the log - and I'm still unable to reproduce myself (Nexus 5, Google Keyboard).

Filed with QA, maybe they'll be able to reproduce (but I'm not sure if they have any Xiaomi devices).
