Email deleted from server?

Hi

So whenever I view my email on Aqua, I cant got them later on my Outlook!

It seems that email got marked read on the server, so I cant catch them anymore from my office PC.

Any help?

I guess your account (in AquaMail) is configured as POP3.

If you have your other clients (e.g. Outlook app or a email client on your desktop pc/notebook) accessing that mailbox the following might be happening:

1. Either the messages are removed from the server once they are downloaded by AquaMail, and thus is not visible for the other one (your second cliient = Outlook), or
2. Even if the messages downloaded by AquaMail they are still on the server, but the POP3 server does not consider them as being "new", and does not offer them to your other client (Outlook).

Solution:
Please remove your account in AquaMail (long press on account name -> Delete the account) and add it back as IMAP

Whenever you have multiple devices accessing the same account, it is best to use IMAP connection on all the devices (as opposed to POP3).

Ive been using Outlook app on my phone and this behavior never happened.

I believe there should be a setting on Aqua that prevent such one.

Aqua Mail does not delete messages from mail servers just when it checks mail.

Only when you tell it to (by moving messages to Deleted which will be reflected this way in web mail and mail server if the account is set up as IMAP... If it's set up as POP3, messages will be deleted when you empty Deleted).

And then, some mail servers will let only one app, only once, see any particular message -- if using POP3. One such mail server is Gmail.

So if you're trying to use Gmail over POP3, please don't, and switch all your mail apps to using IMAP.
