Could you please add an option to colour the device's navigation bar same colour as the top bar (i.e. same manner as Solid Explorer has)?
+1

Not sure to understand the request. I'm joining a screenshot comparing Solid Explorer and AquaMail. What's the suggestion here ? Thanks

I am referring to an on-screen navigation bar; If I understand correctly, you are not using one, or have harware keys (?).
Solid Explorer looks like this on my phone. The navigation bar takes the same colour as the action bar. There is such an option in the Settings ("Coloured navbar").
To be honest, with the new version that has enabled a material dark theme, it doesn't bother me that much. In the previous versions I had to use the material light theme and the action bar was set to red (by me) whereas the navigation bar to blue (based on a dynamic navbar that takes the colouring of each app's primary colour, aka blue for AquaMail).

Is possible change the font color and background of the message size?
I don't see how...

Maybe later (needs some non-trivial code changes).

This is a Samsung device, Android buttons are outside the phone screen.
Yes. I thought so...

That's quite all right. Thank you for considering.

Usually, I don't like change. However the overall look of the design refresh is quite good.

One minor item, the received time on the message list is quite small, could that be made a bit larger.

Thanks

Hi again Kostya
Just had another comment/question on the new design;
The new icons infront of the text in the "folder list" (opening the app), i have now got some cute small icons infront of DRAFT, SENT and DELETED ....but isn't it a possibility to also add for the rest of the names...as for INBOX, SPAM, ALL MAIL etc etc? Then it would be a bit more complete don't you think?

I like the new design except for the counter used in conversation view. I prefer it to be on the right vs the left side.  For now I've disabled it. Thanks for considering my feedback.

The thread counter (in message list) should be moved back to the right side: you can use the same position where the message size is displayed.

This could be implemented in the context with @Paris Geek's suggestion:
PG design refresh remark 11
Change date field place - put it where it was before

"Complete and consistent" is good, but space there is limited, and the "special" folders are really "special" (drafts / sent / deleted), the others are "just folders", so having an icon next to each would be kind of redundant...

We're thinking about it (the Design Team is).

IMO "Inbox", "Spam", "Archiv" and Gmail's labels "All Maassagel" / "Important" are also specific folder vs. all other "(just) folders".

Therefore @julio66's suggestion would be useful to identify these 'special" folders at a glance.

Yes, understood.

And then you'd want to label "all other folders" too, so they're not sitting there shivering in the cold, without a nice icon to keep them warm.

So in the end, you'd have an icon next to each and every folder on the apps' main screen. Would this be too much or not?

I understand, but it would be as it already looks in the navigation drawer:

There are less numbers in nav drawer than in Account view.
And in Nav drawer, it's only one account.
Ok as an option.
How about a compromise:

Icons by default only for 'special / system folders":
- Inbox
- Spam
- Important (Gmail's label)
- All messages (Gmail's label)
- Archiv
- Drafts
- Sent
- Deleted
- Other folders... (this special item to connect to other folders)

Additional as an Option for:
- all other (individual) folders

Hi, it would be nice, if we could adjust the font size/area size in height for attachment description in message view.

On phone it's perfect, but on tablet (9,7" portrait mode, two columms of attachments) it is too big. Area in height for just one attachment is bigger than my finger :)

Please post your feedback on the 1.8 design refresh here. I will pass it on to the Design Team.
- detest washed out color scheme; please bring back option for vivid colors
- prefer conversation message count on right (previous location)
- new app icon is generic, nodescript; could be anyone's mail app icon
- new folder ions look great and are a welcome addition
- relocation of settings button takes some getting use to ...
