How do I save a received mail as draft and send it as 'new'
« on: January 01, 2017, 10:08:16 am »

I have sent an email from my Outlook (desktop) to myself.
The mail contained formatted text and a screenshot pasted into the body (i.e. not as an attachment).

I want to do the following within Aquamail:

1. save the mail as a draft as if it was a -new- mail
(i.e. all stuff that shows it was a received mail should be removed)

2. save multiple copies as a draft, each copy to have a different receiver
(this enables me to make the mail personally by adding dear so-and-so)

2a. if this is not possible, then no alternative is left then to add multiple email addresses as bcc
(no dear bla-bla possible)

3. then add a 'send later' timestamp to each mail

#1 is most important.
Regretfully I didn't manage this in AquaMail and had to use Outlook (desktop) to do this which was a bit inconvenient.
(had to leave my pc running)

You can "forward" a message from Sent or "Menu -> Reply (clean)". The later will not add any extra "quoting" headers.

... But:
You will loose all (rich text) formatting, if you want to edit the message (e.g.: to personalize the solution 'Dear Mark",  "Dear Mr. Zuckerberg",...)

That's true. I'm just describing what's there.

Right now, what I have done is to copy/paste the formatted contents (special font, 2 screenshots)
into a couple of different new emails and added title and receiver email address.
This I did within Outlook desktop and posted from Outlook.

As said, drawback of that option is that I need to have my pc running and I have to be at home.

As an alternative I might do with just 1 mail (whilst using AquaMail), with x multiple receivers as
bcc and no 'dear so-and-so', but.. formatted text and the 'embedded screenshots' should be available
So, the contents should be as if I were to create a new mail and the text / images be pasted into it.

If this is not (yet) possible within AquaMail, well, okay, I know then. It is simply bad luck.
No problem.
I vainly tried to figure this out myself first before posting.

Sorry, this is not something that Aqua Mail can really do at this time (edit formatted text and preserve its original formatting).... My apologies.
