Are people with regular android wear devices able to delete emails on Android N? I still feel it has to do with the android N android wear 2.0 updates more than a pebble issue. Aquamail has been the best email app for me up until the last android update.

This is what I found regarding the latest updates

There was one change in N related to action icons.

Personally I consider it a bug or a regression of usability, but who am I to argue with Google'rs?

https://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=203146#c8

Basically, on N, when a notification is "about" more than one message --

-- the "delete" (etc) icons on this notification, which would apply to all the messages (in the notification) at once, are now missing.

You now have to swipe down on the initial (group) notification to turn it into a chain of separate "one per message" notifications, then swipe down on those, one by one, to reveal the action icons under each message item.

To me, that's a giant step back. To Google that's apparently a step forward.

Did this ever get resolved?  Same issue here.

It's frustrating, I'm trying to move away from Google and have gone with Fastmail but the choice is:
Fastmail app - only shows one notification (get new mail, the notification overwrites the previous one) but actions appear fine on Pebble
Aquamail - shows multiple notifications, but actions never appear on Pebble (even if the notification is for only one email)
Maildroid - actions work on Pebble but only "reply all" appears on the notification shade on the phone, and for some inexplicable reason they don't have "reply"  (reply-all is bad practice)

Argh!  The temptation to just go back to letting Google spy on everything.
Incidentally Aquamail is the only one so far that isn't doing the Pebble actions :)  The behaviour seems to be the same whether Android Wear support is turned on or off, it's like it has no effect.

I know this worked until Pebble released an update (maybe a month or two ago).

Aqua Mail, as I wrote above, does not have direct "native" support for Pebble watches (and I doubt it ever will).

It is able to add Android Wear enhancements to its notifications, and then the Pebble app is supposed to see that data and present the enhancements (actions) on their watches. This is the part that supposedly started working "not so well" since their update.

Hmm, unfortunately as Pebble is no more, I can't see anything changing at their end.

I understand with Android Wear and other apps integrate with the Pebble with actionable notifications via Android Wear successfully - I don't think many at all interface directly with Pebble since a year or more ago - but it seems to me Aqua is coinciding with some bug somewhere (not necessarily your fault, just manifests itself in your implementation)

Will stick with the somewhat limited native Fastmail client for now as it's nice to have those options, but may well revisit and purchase the pro version of Aqua if anything changes.

You should have a look into this thread

http://www.aqua-mail.com/forum/index.php?topic=4317.msg23654#msg23654

... and the detailed explanation from Kostya in his post here:

http://www.aqua-mail.com/forum/index.php?topic=4215.msg22847#msg22847

The main part of these issues are on Pebble's side:
> How the watch manufacturer's software is working together with 'Enhanced notifications for Android Wear', since there is no direct communication between AquaMail and Pebble.

PS:
As far as I know, AquaMail has an API for third party notification enhancement apps. Unfortunately, right now there is no one out there who has created some sort of "Easy and powerful notification center for your Pebble watch"... at least Pebble isn't using AquaMail's API.

Since pebble will soon be no more, I'm looking for another smartwatch to use. My question is if anyone has an Android 7 phone paired to a smartwatch that has actionable notifications?
