There is - long press the account in the account list, choose "Folders and Options", scroll down to the desired folder, tap it, choose how it should be processed (probably as an incoming type folder).
Once you've done that, the folder will show in the main window under the account and will be processed (synched).
Being able to open any folder and to move messages there without adding it to the main window is on my to-do list.
