another strange thing is that even though I can see the attached log file in sent item inside aquamail,
I cannot see it neither in my email client on my pc (thunderbird),
nor in the yahoo web browser,
this app is strange, very, very strange
Debug logs are sent, but not uploaded to Drafts or Sent messages -- because the app may be writing to the debug log right at the same time.
Debug logs, debug logs, debug logs. Only, only, only.
A special case. Nothing is wrong, and nothing will be wrong with your messages.
( unless you often send AquaMail's debug logs to your friends and family )
Now, notifications.
The way Android notifications work is:
Android provides a way for apps to post "notifications" which (normally) go into the Android status bar and (since Android 5.0) also get copied to the lock screen.
Apps have no way to post or clear notifications just on the lock screen.
( there may be vendor-specific, i.e. Samsung / Huawei / LG / Sony specific functions to do that, with the emphasis on "may", but I'm not aware of any and AquaMail does not do this type of thing )
I repeat:
The only "place" into which Android apps post notifications is the status bar (and can contain enhancements for Android Wear smart watches, optional, these may be set by an app).
Lock screen notifications are "copies" of those "regular" status bar notifications and are managed by Android.
To the user, there are two "different" things, the status bar notification and then the lock screen notification. In terms of how Android apps work, there is only the status bar notification.
In other words, I have no idea about what's going on, esp. the lock screen notification disappearing.
I do believe that it's not an AquaMail issue and it's not "the app clearing the lock screen notification" at all.
