Can't access emails from more than a week ago!!!!!
« on: August 08, 2016, 07:17:57 pm »
Really frustrating. Don't understand why nobody else has this problem and why it's not on any forum topic I can find.

I simply want to be able to see ALL of my emails from the dawn of time until now, is that too much to ask? Why have they disappeared? Why is there a stupid irritating update when things were fine before?

Please get me back my emails

Thank you

Hi and welcome in the forum,

First of all, AquaMail is a very powerful email client app for mobile devices and has huge amounts of settings for customizing and matching the users needs.

Therefore I recommend to have a look into the app's settings regarding 'syncing' with the webserver and 'caching' messages within the app. You will find these options at different places in the app's general settings and at the specific account settings.

As a first step I would check the specific account setting:

> go to the app's main window (account list view) > long press on your account name > go to 'Options and folders' > 'Account options' > 'Messages to sync' > click on 'By time period' > select (e.g.) '30 days'

Perhaps this could solve your issue already.

Kind regards
Mikeone

This happens to a fair number of users when Microsoft "migrates" their account to "the new servers", which has been ongoing for a few months, and recently picked up (it seems).

I have a sticky on the web site, there is a simple workaround:
