Smart folder with sticky settings? (like Thunderbird)

Hi - have tried searching and reading a good many helpful posts on here, but I don't think I can find information on this one ... Is there any way to make the smart folder (or any other such 'virtual' folder) show only starred messages (or put starred messages at the top) and then make that setting permanent, i.e. so that whenever you go to that folder, it always shows only the starred messages (or always puts the starred messages at the top)? I know it isn't hard to tap a couple of times to apply settings like that again, but I'm trying to set it up for someone who finds that kind of thing challenging ...

Yes there is a sort by starred (and also by starred + unread).

You can save the sort order via Menu -> Sort -> Save as default, but default it's not "sticky" (helps people find "something" with no long term effects or questions about "why did the sort order change"...).

This is tracked separately per-folder, and the smart folder has its own "slot" too. Or app settings -> smart folder -> sort order.
