Disable AquaMail in whole when wifi is off?
« on: December 26, 2012, 01:22:13 am »
I relation to my other issue posted in General (do not know if that is a bug or a feature).

How to disable AquaMail when wifi is off.
So no synching, not by schedule, not by push, not manually! but also not sending and receiving an email.
Perhaps even not setting up an email to save it as a draft.

I also checked Tasker app, for this. Can't find it the setting.

The one thing i can do, is setup tasker, when starting the AquaMail app, to turn off the mobile data and turn on wifi. Which i have done for other apps like Google Play and YouTube.

It's only to get past the next month, where i have a limited data of 200MB a month. So using wifi at home and at work all the time. But outdoors not much.
After that month, i should have increased the limit to 500MB.

Hi,

Please open the app's settings, and switch to Extended mode  -> there are "WiFi only" options for both scheduled mail checks and push mail.

Yes I found them, but these settings only regards on the scheduled syncs. I still can do manual syncs. Or write mails which are send.

I think I will have to setup tasker for this.

And besides that, I think push only on Wifi means that on no Wifi the app uses the regular schedule method.

Yes, you can still use manual mail checking -- but you don't have to if you don't want to, am I missing something?

As for "WiFi only for push" - it's not related to "WiFi only for scheduled mail checks", if both are off, it means off (unless you open the app and use refresh buttons).
