Hello,

I have an Exchange account from Amazon Web Services,  which is a new service "WorkMail".
But I can't add that account to AquaMail, I get an EWS connection error.
I've tried to add the server address manually but I still get some errors.

Could you help me fix this ?
It's my main email address and for this one I have to use another email client, it's sad,  I love AquaMail.

Are you sure that the server supports something called EWS (Exchange Web Services) the network protocol used by AquaMail for exchange accounts?

PS:
EWS and ActiveSync are different ways to connect to Exchange... and AquaMail supports EWS but not ActiveSync.

Yes, and every other email client which support Exchange email accounts works with this new service.

AquaMail is supporting EWS too  :)

PS:

What error message you will get when trying to setup your WorkMail account... a screenshot would be great.

The error message says:

Error during account verification
Exchange mail server (EWS): Network error.
Please make sure the data is correct.

Please (double) check your account settings / login  data.

Can you please contact Amazon and ask specifically about EWS (Exchange Web Services)?

So far what I'm seeing in their FAQ is:

Maybe it's ActiveSync and only ActiveSync?

There are multiple server for this service with one with an uri like this : /EWS/Exchange.asmx
Then for me it is an EWS server, but even with manual config, I still get an error on AquaMail.

But if you need more info, I will try to ask AWS.

Did you already check your account configuration:
Login data, Incoming / Outgoing server name, ports, Security type (SSL,...)?

> Menu > Add an account > enter your email address and password > press MANUAL

> on the next screen "New account: Incoming server" > check all settings carefully > press NEXT

> on the next screen "New account: Outgoing server" > check all settings carefully > press NEXT

> on the next screen "Almost done" > check/edit your name / account name > press "SAVE"

I'm stuck on the setup wizard, I don't succeed in adding the account, then I can't access those settings for this email account ...

If there is no possibility to get access to the manual setting screens with the setup wizard you could try to add your Gmail account at first.
Then add your WorkMail acoount as a "second account" in AquaMail by using the menu itam "Add an account" as described in my previous post:

Different error messages?  Which one?
... or the same error as mentioned in your previous screenshot?
