I have been swiping "to mark as read" for my gmail and yahoo account for years
Now I found out that I can swipe "to archive" for my gmail, so I did that
However, in the smart folder, I can't swipe "mark as read" for my yahoo email (nor swipe at all)

I tried reverting back to "mark as read" for both accounts, but it seems to be stuck as "swipe to archive for my gmail" and can't swipe at all for my yahoo account.

Is it possible to swipe to archive for my gmail and swipe to mark as read for my yahoo email in the smart folder?
If not, how do I go back to having them both swipe to mar as read?

Thank you for your help

Hi sed34,
In addition to Paris Geek's suggestion please be aware that you have to assign an archive folder in the account's settings to become the "Archive button" available for your Yahoo account:
> long press on Account name > Options and folders > Folders > (covered in the FAQ - search for "Archiving messages").

Thanks for your replies!
However I still can’t get it to revert back

The 3 swipe actions, I only need 1 for each side
Been using slide left to “mark as read”, and slide right for "move as spam"

Even if I could add an additional swipe setting, I can’t.  I’ve lost the ability to “mark as read” for any swipe icon setting
I must’ve messed with some setting when I added the move to archive feature
Tried to post the screenshots from "before and after "of the missing mark as read/unread option but the forum won't let me post external links

But you can attach files (e.g. screenshots) directly to your post.

You should be able to "scroll" this window. Above "Move to archive" you will find the action "Mark as read / unread"...
