AquaMail - Yahoo user receives blank email

I use a totally up to date AquaMail pro on my mobile (Android Lollipop). I run my own mail server for many years with many clients, never as issue.

Now I have an issue with 1 person. When I send an email from my webmail client or Outlook on the PC, they receive the email fine.

When I send an email to this 1 person the body (most of the body) of the email is removed, meaning they see subject, the signature and all the thread.

They are using Yahoo and confirm the issue persists with both Yahoo Mail for Android and the Yahoo web client.

This is a strange issue to debug, both parties can explain why they're not at fault because every one receives my emails (from AquaMail) other than this 1 person. Yet, in regards to this 1 person's perspective, he can send/receive from every one other than me when I send the email from AquaMail.

When I send emails to this person, another person is always copied in and they receive the email as expected. To me, this conclusively concludes that the email I'm sending is correct but, any ideas why this is? My only thought is if the email is  an HTML email, that may be a built in CSS style is being overwritten by their client but if this were the case I'd have thought to see others post the same issue.

Another thing which would help --

is for you, after sending, to get the actual source code of the just sent message (full headers and text, the entire MIME thing) and to send it as a plain text file (attachment) as a follow-up.

Then I'll compare what was sent with what comes out on the other side, in my Yahoo account.

I hope I have provided enough information so you know my email is about this post (would be nice if these posts showed a unique ID so I could reference it but I guess this issue occurs very little   )

As per your very fast reply on email, I agree, the fault is with the users device.

In my opinion, the fault is with his phone because when I created a Yahoo account and used the Yahoo app (and we actually happen to have the same Android phone) and I don't see this issue.

I've done more testing, I think the issue is with AquaMail now (note, I say think  )!

Steps to replicate, which appears to work every time, using Yahoo mail for android and a Yahoo domain, and AquaMail (any email domain)

1. Send email from AquaMail, with 01 as the body to Yahoo
2. Recieve email in Yahoo app and reply with 02
3. Receive email in AquaMail. Reply from AquaMail with 03 in body
4. Yahoo app recieves a blank email

I replicated the above 3 times in a row. Twice with my own email (my own servers) and once using GMX

I then downloaded Blue Mail (some mail app on Google Play Store), and can't replicate this (tried 3 times in a row).

Is this replicable for you?

Fixed.

An HTML peculiarity that my code wasn't handling properly -- perhaps added only recently to Yahoo Mail for Android.

PS - Yahoo Mail for Android is really good!

I was just about to post on the forum here a few days ago with the exact same problem (recipient using Yahoo Mail for Android).

Whenever I would reply to them and they'd open the message, and the body of it would be missing.  Sometimes if they initiated the conversation they'd get my first reply, but not the second.

I was so surprised to see the update with that issue listed (especially so soon after the previous update), and I tested it out immediately and the problem was fixed!

It was a simple thing to fix, so big props to @DaveRook for having tracked it down to Yahoo Mail for Android specifically, so I was able to reproduce.
